Villa Berta owes its name to the Berta stream, a natural waterway marking the boundary with the municipality of Treia. Nestled in the enchanting Marche countryside, the villa is located along the road connecting San Severino Marche to Passo di Treia — a charming and strategic location, easily accessible yet surrounded by greenery and tranquility.

The structure is a typical example of an aristocratic residence from the Macerata area, with architectural details that reflect its origins and the style of its time. The corner turrets at the rear of the villa add a discreet and noble charm.
In addition to the main building, Villa Berta includes an annex, a chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony, a greenhouse, and a drying house — all witnesses to a country life rich in spirituality and industriousness.

The construction of the villa dates back to the first quarter of the 20th century. It was Mr. Roversi who strongly desired it, lovingly dedicating it to his wife Berta, from whom it takes its name.
